Teaching is a major part of Haley’s career and he continues to pursue and grow his ability to instruct at a high level. Haley began teaching as a high school student in Scottsdale, AZ. He was asked by a former school teacher with minimal percussion experience, to come and work with the percussionists. As a very competitive person, Haley found a new way to compete through his students. His first year as an educator, Haley’s ensembles won distinctions locally and nationally throughout several different competitions.
